The temperature is starting to rise (slowly) and the snow is starting to melt! All I can say is that I am ready for Spring, what about you?
As the seasons start to shift so do the trends and normally, come warmer weather, we’re ready to change it up a bit! That might lead you down the path of wondering... what’s the new hair trends for Spring?
Well you might have heard whispers or seen some fashion hints, but the 90’s and early 00’s are back baby! Hair accessories galore, high contrast highlights, high ponies (of course with a scrunchie), bucket hats, bringing back any memories? Of course there is a modern twist to update all of these trends, but if you start taking notice of different advertisements or are scrolling on Instagram you’ll notice the 90’s nod. I mean not to mention this whole controversy over skinny jeans and side parts.
Over the next few weeks we’ll go over what this means for Spring trends in Hair Color, Hair Cuts and Accessories. Yes Accessories, you know the 90’s were the height of hair embellishments! Let’s see... there were butterfly clips of all sizes, thick headbands, coordinating scrunchies, claw clips, banana clips...the list goes on! I’m not saying they are all coming back but those crystal studded butterflies on springs definitely were something.
